Nathan is a striking success
Many sound judges at Villa Park are already a 16-year-old striker at the club as one to watch in the future.
Nathan Delfouneso is considered a huge talent and has already become a regular for both the club’s reserves and academy teams as well as making a number of appearances for the England Under 16 team.
He has already been offered a contract with the view to a professional deal as soon as he reaches the age of 17 next February.
Gordon Cowans, from the club’s academy, says that Nathan has a good future ahead as long as he doesn’t get carried away by his early success. “As long as he keeps his feet on the floor then I really do feel he will be a great prospect for Aston Villa in the future.”
Nathan is studying the BTEC National Certificate in Sport with Villa and also the NVQ in Sporting Excellence having obtained the required GCSEs during the summer. The club say that he’s making good progress in both courses.
