United’s Febian is fab for Swansea
One of Manchester United’s young hopefuls is in line to play his part in one of the season’s success stories.
Striker Febian Brandy (pictured) has expanded his experience by moving for a loan spell with League 1 title favourites Swansea City – where he immediately announced his arrival by getting on the goalscoring sheet.
Febian is one of United’s Third Year scholars – along with James Chester, Richard Eckersley, Christopher Fagan, Sam Hewson and Ron-Robert Zieler – who following on from their successful completion of the AASE last season, having passed their Level 2 FA Coaching Certificate, assisted by Geoff Lomax from the PFA Coaching Department.
In praising the youngsters, Head of Education and Welfare, Dave Bushell, spares a thought for injury-plagued central defender Craig Cathcart. “Craig has been unable to complete – but he did have an impressive loan spell at Royal Antwerp which he has just returned from.”
